Mark discusses options including buying judgments for cash upfront, referring, outsourcing, or using a lawyer in your JE business. So far, in most of the US lone judgment enforcers can operate, however more and more courts are locking out contingency non-lawyer judgment enforcers. We got lots of calls, first, a question about filing a federal judgment in a state court or vice-versa, Mark did what he could to help and recommended the caller talk to a lawyer, but the caller did not want to talk to a lawyer, he seemed to know more than everyone else. Next caller, had a UCC lien, Mark had to tell him his private administrative remedy judgment is hopeless, and he hung up, not wanting to hear the truth. Next caller had a judgment, wondering why he needed to identify the judgment debtor, and he might be out of luck as he did not take care to sue a specific person. Next caller wanted to sell her judgment, Mark had to tell her the truth, and she insisted the debtor had to pay due to preserving his credit report. Another guy wanted me to send him a private data report on him, which Mark could not do, as he is not a PI.
