Q: Can a Lawyer pay or get paid for judgment leads?

A: We are not lawyers. Our opinion, based on what we have been told from lawyers all over the country referring or enforcing JudgmentBuy’s judgment leads is that:

Lawyers can only pay other lawyers for leads. Lawyers cannot pay anyone else (who is not a lawyer) for leads. Lawyers can be paid by anyone, and for judgment leads referred by the lawyer. See our Income For Lawyers article.
