Most Judgments Never Enforced

Why are 80% of judgments not enforced?

Every situation is different, but some reasons include:  Many debtors no longer have enough available assets to pay the judgment, and "the system" seems to let people hide money - and defraud others. (When a qualified Judgment Enforcer, collections agency, or collections lawyer is on the job - that 80% number goes way down - but some judgments can't be enforced.)

Free advice and a joke:   Best to accept what is - worrying or bad feelings never helps. If you can affect outcomes for the positive - take action. If you can't, try to be happy and hope for the best.

The Zen master steps up to the hot dog cart and says: "Make me one with everything" and pays with a $20 bill. The hot dog vendor puts the bill in the cash drawer and closes it. "Where's my change?" asks the Zen master. The hot dog vendor responds: "Change must come from within."

Where did that 80% number come from? We don't know, but we guess it's more like 90%.
