Multiple Social Security numbersA: In theory, intentionally using multiple Social Security Numbers (SSNs) is illegal. However, in real life - unless one uses multiple SSNs to defraud the government or a VIP - law enforcement and other government entities (except perhaps bankruptcy courts) rarely do anything to the average person who use multiple SSNs - or who commits perjury.
